As i was reading my friend BJ's blog
I realized how much hair can define a person.
I thought i would take a trip down memory lane in an...
Ode to hair.
Currently i'm still doing the red thannng. I for a fact am not a fan of ginger kids. This has been known by many that are close to me....and then i go and dye my hair red.
(PS. Ginger and Red heads are two VERY different things.)
For quite some time i kept my black hair (whether i liked it or not because my poor little college fund didn't include going to the beauty salon....$7 hair color all the way. Thanks Target) But the bangs were born. Again, kudos to Miss Lindsey for the cut. Seriously, no hair school and cuts like Edward Scissorhands.
Whilst the red had it's day, black apparently was the next thing on my docket. I loved it...HOWEVER....do not dye your hair black. Bad bad things happen like zeeese.....
1. It shows your roots likea craazzy.
2. If you don't wear makeup one day you look sickly
3. It is impossible to dye any other color than black unless you would like to go through a 7 hour hair ordeal like i did trying to remove the black.
Sorry for the tangent, it needed to be made known.
MPFL bridget...MPFL.
Middle Part For Life....lasted me a good week and then i quit. Bridge still rocks it like a Victoria Secret model....i looked like a hesta molesta. (and no you can not land a plane on my forehead....but it is preeeety close)
I had always wanted to dye my hair red. My lovely roommate Lindsey Brooke Juchau was my colorist through the college years. I remember when she died my hair red, the bathroom looked like a murder scene with red dye all over our white sinks, floor and bathtub. Loves it.
Ah back to the beginning. I am not posting pictures from high school. My hair struggled in finding itself. Don't judge. I had this hairstyle for a good while. It was good to me. Feathers, Beads, Bangs. Essential.
Basically I realize no one really cares what my hair has looked like over the years.
This i know.
However, this is my thoughts, and if you took the time to read them...
