Pneumonia? Heard of it? Well i'm going on day 10 of having this fun filled illness. Last Wednesday I was starting to really feel better. I woke up Thursday morning feeling worse than i ever have. I went to work and made it a good six hours before i raised my white flag to the day. I came home and passed out in the bed.
Sounds fun? No...not really. But, through this past few days i was really grateful for a few things...

Gossip Girl.
Basically an addiction of mine for a while now. Thankfully has kept me entertained for the past 6 days. I'm going to be needing all the seasons. It's important.

Ibuprofen.
Praise the heavens for this wonderful little pill.
Priesthood Blessings.
Jarrick called our Dads on Thursday evening to meet us and give me a priesthood blessing. On our drive to the Tilby's house I sat and thought about when i got really sick in Saint George. I knew no one that was worthy to give me a priesthood blessing, let alone two men who were honorable priesthood holders that i felt comfortable calling to help me. I am honestly so grateful to have a husband who holds the priesthood honorably and was able to give me a blessing that night. Also, for my amazing father-in-law and the best dad in the world to come to the rescue at 10:00 on a Thursday night. It really hit me how amazing priesthood blessings truly are.
bless your little heart! i'm sorry you've been so sick. let me know if i can bring you anything on my lunch tomorow, ok!? and gossip girl? i love it. what season are you on? don't start season 3 without me.
ReplyDeletesending love, and health your way.
